Hello! A bit about me: I'm a proud Londoner and a 2010 graduate of Western University's Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders Program, with a Speech-Language Pathology specialization. Most importantly, I am a mama to four wonderful children. If you're lucky, you can spot us zipping through London in our big, white van ("Hank the Tank"), or en route for a family road trip, with my incredible hubby at the wheel.

As an experienced SLP, with 15+ years experience, I hold the highest national certification that SLPs in Canada can obtain, serving as additional proof of clinical competency upon graduation (S-LP(C) designation. Over my years of experience and training, I gained a wide range of clinical skills used in my time in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, community settings, schools, and now private practice.

I am pleased to be a part of London's local, growing business community. I opened my first private practice in 2015, working with all ages. The COVID-19 pandemic forced many business to pivot, including mine. My private pediatric therapy services were paused indefinitely in 2020. However, I forged ahead and continued helping teens and adults in need of speech therapy or coaching/training services.

Fast forward to today, after many (many!) enquiries and requests, and with the pandemic well behind us, I'm thrilled to be bringing pediatric speech therapy services back, lovingly rebranded as Connect Kids Speech Therapy, under the Connect Speech services umbrella.

Seeing children overcome obstacles and thrive and SHINE brings me so much fulfillment and joy; they are the heartbeat of why I chose this work in the first place. So, I'm excited to do my part to help meet the speech therapy needs of families in London and area. We look forward to helping your child achieve important skills while building confidence, feeling celebrated, and having fun!

Hi! I’m Ghazal — but most kids call me G! I’m a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) with a post-graduate certificate from Lambton College and a diploma in Child and Youth Education from Fanshawe College.

I’ve spent over 7 years helping children find their voice, build confidence, and have fun while they learn. I support children with a wide range of communication needs, including those with diagnosed speech and language disorders, Developmental Language Disorder, and little ones on the Autism Spectrum. I’ve worked in group programs, centre-based sessions, and lots of individualized 1:1 therapy—each child gets a plan that’s just right for them.

Whether a child is verbal, non-verbal, uses AAC, or communicates in their own unique way, I meet them exactly where they are. I help with articulation, expressive and receptive language, social communication, and early language development—always keeping things playful and meaningful.

Alongside in-person therapy in the London area, I also offer virtual sessions for families anywhere. Many parents aren’t sure about online therapy at first, but once they see how engaging it can be—with games, visuals, movement, and lots of laughs—they’re usually surprised by how well their child learns. I’ve seen incredible progress through virtual sessions!

I believe every child shines in their own way. My job is to bring out that spark! I focus on building strong, trusting relationships with kids and their families. I use each child’s interests—dinosaurs, princesses, you name it—to make therapy fun, motivating, and something they look forward to.

I’m fluent in English and Farsi, and I provide speech therapy services in the London, Ontario area and virtually across Canada.

I am a Clinic Administrative Assistant with a genuine enthusiasm for healthcare and for creating positive, supportive experiences for the people I serve. With more than five years in customer-focused roles, I’ve learned how far a warm smile, a calm presence, and a willingness to listen can go in helping others feel cared for. My educational path has always centered around health and wellness—I hold a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, an Advanced Diploma in Food Science Technology, and a Diploma in Medical Office Administration. Together, they’ve given me a solid foundation that I use every day in my work.

Outside the clinic, my world revolves around my family. I’m married with two wonderful children who keep life full, busy, and joyful. We love cozy evenings together, especially when we’re singing around the house or settling in to watch movies based on true events. Those moments remind me why I value connection so much—whether at home or in my professional life.

At my core, I’m a pleasant, people-oriented person who finds fulfillment in helping others and being part of a team that makes a difference. I’m always looking for opportunities to grow, learn, and contribute to a healthier, kinder community.

Our speech therapy services for children are offered in a game-based or play-based format, effectively targeting each child's speech and language goals. From racing cars to pretend play in the kitchen, play is central to the therapy approach.

SLPs embrace differences such as neuro-divergence and focus on a strengths-based philosophy. This approach allows us to celebrate and capitalize on each child's inherent strengths while helping support the skills that need improving.

It is important that we have open communication and collaboration with parents, schools, and others involved in the child's therapy, care, and learning. This collaborative approach ensures the best outcomes for our clients.
